GiboPack is a product packaging cell based on a modular design that allows for expansion with additional modules as needed. If you purchase GiboPack as a standalone unit, it replaces the manual packing of products into cardboard boxes ranging in size from 120×120×120 mm to 650×650×550 mm.
The cell is simple, user-friendly, and high-output. You select the box size and product type on the touchscreen, and the cell is ready for operation. The infeed conveyor transports products to an automatic divider, which aligns the number of products the robot is to pick up. Once a layer has been formed, the gripper picks up the layer and places it in the box. The cycle repeats with the number of layers to be placed in the box. When the box is full, it is released and moves forward to the box sealer. After the box is sealed, it is transported out of the cell for palletizing.
GiboPack can be expanded with additional packaging robots and conveyor belts.
GiboPack is designed with durable materials and well-thought-out solutions that ensure maximum uptime with minimal maintenance costs, provided the system is inspected by authorized Gibotech service personnel at least once a year.
