CMS is part of the SCM Group, which coordinates, supports, and develops industrial excellence across three highly specialized production centers with more than 3,500 employees worldwide.

The History of CMS
CMS was founded in northern Italy in 1969. Since its founding, the company’s goal has been to manufacture machines that offer high productivity and extreme precision.
This has resulted in high customer satisfaction.
In 1974, CMS built its first CNC machine to meet the industry’s automation needs. In the years that followed, CMS focused primarily on woodworking—a focus that has made CMS a world leader in the development and manufacture of custom-built machines.
In 1980, CMS expanded its product range to include CNC machines for stone machining. In the years that followed, the company introduced machines for the production of eyeglass frames, thereby entering the plastics industry. Later, the company expanded into the aluminum and light metal industries.
In the early 2000s, the machining of composites became more common. CMS saw a market opportunity where their CNC machines, with minor improvements and modifications, could be adapted for the production of molds and templates used in the manufacture of composite components. CMS is, and always has been, the epitome of efficiency, precision, and high productivity.
High-quality machines
The machines supplied by CMS are used, among other things, to machine components for space shuttles, military and civilian aircraft, Formula 1 and race cars, America’s Cup boats, yachts, wind turbines, and many other products that require the highest quality and precision.
Gibotech has been an authorized dealer of CMS machines for over 30 years, which is why CMS’s CNC machines can help Danish companies improve both efficiency and quality. And with Gibotech’s expertise and guidance, you can be sure to get the right solution for your production.
