Denmark's first CMS, IKON, is provided by Gibotech

The CMS IKON CNC machine is not yet available in Denmark. However, Gibotech has received an order to supply the machine, which will be the first of its kind in Denmark.

Many Danish companies use CNC machines. However, none of them currently have a CMS IKON machine in operation. But soon, a world-leading Danish supplier to the construction industry will be able to welcome a CMS IKON into its production facilities when Gibotech brings the first IKON CNC machine to the country. The machine will be combined with a robotic solution designed to operate the CMS IKON CNC machine.

A CNC machine is always worth considering if you want to optimize your production. And the CMS IKON is an excellent choice if you want to make everything a little more efficient—especially since this machine comes equipped with no fewer than two machining units. In this case, we can say that we’ve super-optimized the setup, as we’re delivering a complete solution that also includes a robotic cell to operate the CMS IKON CNC machine.  The machine is designed so that you can load and unload workpieces while the machine is machining other workpieces. That is why we are proud that our customer has chosen Gibotech as the turnkey supplier for their new CNC machine and associated robot cell. The CMS IKON stands out from other CNC machines because it features a table that can rotate vertically when machining workpieces. This means that workpieces can be loaded and unloaded on one side of the table while the machine is machining workpieces on the other side. At the same time, the tables make the machine compact—but no less efficient.
