(Perhaps still) the largest CNC machine in the Nordic region

Did you know that back in 2019, Gibotech delivered what was then the largest CNC machine in the Nordic region?‍

It took nine trucks and three separate deliveries for Gibotech to deliver and install what was then the largest CNC machine in the Nordic region.

The machine was a CMS Poseidon Maxi, which, measuring 55 meters in length, 11 meters in width, and 10 meters in height, is capable of processing very large workpieces.

The machine is—and was—one of the largest in CMS’s product catalog. A miniature model is on display in one of Gibotech’s meeting rooms, where the scale can also be seen.

And, of course, the machine is still running today.

However, we don’t know if it’s still the largest CNC machine in the Nordic region today. But we haven’t delivered a CNC machine of that size ourselves since then.
