The end of the year is approaching, and we’d like to share some examples of the exciting projects we’ve worked on over the past year. We’re confident we can help you streamline your production as well, so take a look and get inspired.

To make it easy for you, we’ve divided the projects into different types of robots, and we’ll finish up with one of the really big CNC machines.
Let’s start with the robots …
We are always delighted when our customers are so satisfied with our solutions that they order new systems. In October, we delivered a robotic cell for the second time to a customer in Jutland who wanted to further optimize production on their machines. To that end, we developed a robotic cell designed to shave ten seconds off the cycle time in order to maximize the injection molding machine’s capacity.
We’ll continue with the mobile robots …
In 2020, the new 140,000-square-meter super hospital in Gødstrup is scheduled for completion, and we are providing an AGV solution to transport goods and other items throughout the hospital—from the regional warehouse, the central sterilization department, the laundry, the kitchen, and other areas—as well as to specific locations in patient wards and clinics. This means the intelligent mobile robots will move freely among the staff.
Gibotech’s comprehensive solution includes multiple AGVs, charging stations, control systems, and all the other equipment needed to enable the mobile robots to move around the hospital autonomously and even take the elevator to other floors on their own.
AGVs are brilliant for optimizing internal logistics, and they are now available in all shapes and sizes and for every purpose. For example, one of our customers in the Triangle Region has purchased two large self-driving trucks to transport pallets of finished products from production to the warehouse. This has freed up two employees, who can now handle other tasks in production.
We’ll wrap up with one of the biggest …
Dencam, a company based on Langeland, specializes in the entire process of manufacturing molds for wind turbine blades. They were looking for a CNC machine capable of producing molds for blades over 100 meters long. They chose a 55-meter-long Poseidon Maxi from CMS, which allows for machining of workpieces up to 51.5 x 6.85 x 4 meters and is expected to make Dencam even more competitive.
